Spring Volunteer Opportunities

We hope you are having a wonderful school year! A friendly reminder that as we start our Spring Semester all families are required to volunteer 6 hours, including one breakdown each semester. Although we require 6 hours per semester, we welcome and highly encourage families to sign up for additional committees and opportunities. THURSDAY BREAKDOWN

Every family is required to do one breakdown a semester.  You may sign up for more as needed to complete your hours.  Here is the link for Thursday breakdown:

UPPER SCHOOL SPRING FORMAL COMMITTEE

Our upper school Spring Formal committee will assist in planning for the Spring formal, decorating, set-up as well as tear down. This event is Sunday, April 7th. Our Dance Coordinator Heather Durbin will be in touch prior to the event date to give directions on decorating and tear down. This will be worth your ENTIRE Spring semester hours with the exception of breakdown! We have 5 slots available for this committee.

***Please note the Formal is for 9th-12th graders and the 8th graders will serve food.****

NIGHT AT THE ACADEMY COMMITTEE

Our Night at the Academy will be held on Friday, April 26th at Northeast Christian Church. The NATA committee will assist with prop loading and unloading for NATA, distributing and receiving tickets, along with other items for NATA. This will be worth your ENTIRE SPRING semester hours with the exception of breakdown.

We have different committees for NATA. We have a NATA loading and unloading prop committee with 15 slots available. We have a NATA costume committee with 5 slots. We will also have limited volunteer opportunities available the day of NATA. More information to come on those opportunities.

RESURRECTION PROGRAM COMMITTEE

Our Resurrection program committee will assist in planning for the Resurrection program, set-up as well as tear down. This will be worth your ENTIRE Spring semester hours with the exception of breakdown. We have 7 slots available for this committee! The Resurrection Program will be Thursday, March 21st. We will need 8 slots for tear down on that day. We will need 6 slots for set-up on Tuesday March 19th and we will need 8 slots for prop loading.

GRADUATION COMMITTEE

Our graduation committee will assist in planning, set-up and tear down for our Senior Graduation. This will be worth your ENTIRE Spring semester hours with the exception of breakdown. We have 5 slots available for this committee! Volunteers will help decorate in the afternoon on Thursday, May 16th and help tear down after graduation around 8 PM on Friday, May 17th.

FINAL BREAKDOWN/CLEANING COMMITTEE

This committee will help with final breakdown and cleaning the school for summer break on the last day of school. This will be worth 3 hours of volunteer time and will also count for your Spring semester breakdown. We have 6 slots available.

ATHLETIC BANQUET

We need help setting up and tearing down for the Athletic Banquet. We have 5 slots available for this opportunity. This will be worth your ENTIRE Spring semester hours with the exception of one Thursday breakdown. Athletic Banquet will be Tuesday, April 16th during the day for set-up, serving during it and tearing down afterwards around 8 PM.

We need help with decorating and planning for our Athletic Senior Night. We have 3 slots available for this opportunity. This will be worth your ENTIRE Spring semester hours with the exception of one Thursday breakdown.

UPPER SCHOOL CLOSING CEREMONY

We need 5 volunteers to set up and take down 150 chairs at the NorthEast Campus gym on Thursday May 16th. Set up will start at 8:45 AM and take down will begin after the ceremony concludes’.
