Upper School Vision Night
April 18, 2024 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Northeast Theatre Room
Upper school provides so much for your student. It is a whole person approach to encompass the needs of the maturation process that include community, belonging, purpose and identity as well as accountability. Students gain these fundamental social, emotional and relational skills that lend to building successful adults, in the formal and critically formative years of Upper School. Our program is designed around this. We know that we build our lives out from our personal paradigms and as a program, we build that on fundamental truth, only found inside of God’s word. The truth of God, helps our children develop the ability to critically think, assess and apply wisdom but also withstand tension and obstacles and anchor them, as they find their life purpose and identity within a relationship with their Creator. At our Upper School Vision Night, we will specifically have time to discuss the opportunities and course options for next year’s Senior Class. We have some exciting things on the horizon (new courses, potential trips abroad, work study/internships, and other opportunities). With every grade level at Veritas, we intentionally focus on the appropriate learning stage as well as social-emotional development so that by the end of the senior year, the whole person has been developed and prepared for stepping out into the world.
