Virtual Day Details

Email to Families

We will follow the regular TUESDAY schedule for Upper School Classes.

Include all expectations of students in your email to families:

• Remind students that they can access their Tuesday schedule on TeacherEase.

• They will follow the entire normal Tuesday schedule and are expected to attend every class.

• If any student is unable to attend class virtually, an email should be sent to Mollie Cole and all teachers ASAP

Guidelines for Participating in Veritas Virtual Class

• Students will be at a desk or table during class live sessions.

• Students will be dressed in regular school uniforms, prepared, and on time for class sessions.

• Students will have live screens during class time.

• Students will refrain from eating while class is in session.

• Students will refrain from using other devices while in class sessions.

• Students will actively participate in class sessions and discussions.

• Students will turn in assigned work on the virtual platform on the date assignments are due.

• Students will notify teachers of absences and follow guidelines for turning in assignments*.

• Students will be observed while doing tests or quizzes when applicable.

• Students will not be permitted to chat while in class, either online or in person.

• Teachers have the authority to dismiss students from live class sessions for inappropriate behavior.
