VCA History

Veritas Christian Academy began with a dream and a few dedicated families. Teachers and parents banded together to pursue a vision of a school academy that combined the rigor of Classical, Christian education within a University-Model schedule.

With nineteen students, Veritas Christian Academy launched in 2011 with a full two-day schedule of classes for grades JrK-8. After a successful, fun, and character-building year, Veritas welcomed twenty-nine students in 2012.

The staff and teachers continue to soak each aspect of school life in prayer, asking for God’s will in all things. Enrollment for the 2022-2023 school year has grown to over 230 students (JrK-12th grades), and offering an optional day with the opportunity to take piano, strings, and guitar.

Veritas Christian Academy is doing exceptional things. In a time of great need, classically-educated students are taking the lead in colleges, universities, and careers. We pray that He may continue to bless our efforts to do His will in this city, state, and country.

Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative, inerrant Word of God.
We believe there is only one God, eternally existent in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the deity of Christ; His virgin birth; His sinless life; His miracles; His vicarious and atoning death; His resurrection; His ascension to the right hand of the Father; His personal return in power and glory.
We believe in the absolute necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation because of the exceeding sinfulness of human nature, and that men are justified on the single ground of faith in the shed blood of Christ and that only by God’s grace and through faith alone we are saved.

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling of the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
